Rebel Soul is the dynamic duo of Michele Araquette and Larry Younkins, two seasoned musicians who bring decades of experience, passion, and versatility to every performance. With a setlist that spans rock, blues, jazz, and everything in between, they deliver an unforgettable mix of powerhouse vocals and masterful guitar work, always with a touch of humor and heart.
Michele has been captivating audiences for over 30 years, fronting some of the area's most notable bands, including Crush, Gazze, and The Klassix. A mezzo-soprano with a three-octave range, Michele effortlessly covers artists like Heart, Pink, Pat Benatar, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, Eva Cassidy, and Ella Fitzgerald. Known for her engaging stage presence and self-deprecating humor, Michele makes every show feel like a personal experience.
Larry is a highly respected guitarist who performs with several area bands, including a Foreigner tribute band and Red Sky Dawn. His exceptional musicianship, versatility, and deep love for rock and blues shine through in every note he plays. Whether delivering soaring solos or intricate acoustic melodies, Larry’s playing is the perfect complement to Michele’s powerhouse vocals.
